If you are anything like me, once the temperature begins to rise, an all-out panic sets in about what you are going to wear!
Don’t get me wrong, I love summer and as I was growing up I would worship the sun (yes, without sunscreen, gasp!!), going out on boat, loving the beach, bikinis and mini skirts!
And these things are great when you have a twenty-something body that you are dying to show off, but how should a forty-something woman dress appropriately for her age at the beach, pool or while boating without looking matronly? Should you cover your arms? Is it still appropriate to wear a bikini? Figuring out a perfect way to cover figure flaws and still look fabulous can be challenging.
Although beauty and a positive self image come from within, a beach beautiful cover-up doesn’t hurt.
The best way to cover-up and look fabulous is to wear a sheer caftan in bright jewel tones such as hot pink. Pair that with a hat, bright jewelry and a large beach bag and there is no stopping you!
