Art and more art! From December 18th to January 26th, The Gallery in Altos de Chavón will be filled with the fantastic artworks of the “Holistic” art exhibit presented by Dominican artists George Heinsen and Joao Rodriguez and US Yoel Bordas, all “Chavoneros” and graduates of the Altos de Chavón School of Design.
A collaboration between these three young and very talented artists, the “Holistic” art exhibit will open on Thursday December 18th with a cocktail party. All Casa de Campo villa owners, residents and visitors are cordially invited to attend for this chance to meet and greet the artists and enjoy their work.
Following the opening the exhibit will be open through to January 26th 2015, and The Gallery is open every day from 9am to 6pm, closed Wednesdays.

Now let’s get to know the artists…
George Heinsen
Fine artist, selected in 2009 at the Third Biennial Palette Nickel in Bonao, participated in the ”Charrete-Santiago 500 years’’ journey with the Brazilian architect Jaime Lerner. In 2010 he received a degree in Architecture and was selected to participate in the Continuing Education program for artists and Workshop scriptures for artists in the Leon’s Center in Santiago de los Caballeros.
Joao Rodríguez
Fine artist, winner of the firth place at the poster contest of the National Carnival Parade in 2013 and after that in 2014 received honorable mention in the design competition ‘’El Nuevo Mueble’’. In 2011 he obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design at the Technological Institute of Santo Domingo (INTEC). Since graduating, he has been doing some freelance work for clients such as: Cuts, Aborigen, Bits y Eraca.
Yoel Bordas
Fine artist, winner of the Price Colección Patricia Phelps Cisneros at the 24th edition of the Centro Leon’s Biennale in 2012, with his paintings “Retirement Plan”. Graduated in 2001 from Advertising at UNAPEC in Santo Domingo. Later in 2007 he implemented illustration workshops in Dalvero Academy in New York City.
The exhibit runs from December 18th to January 26th 2015, Thursdays to Tuesdays from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm (closed Wednesdays).
