This past Saturday, April 14th, while golf teams were out on the greens, the La Romana Country Club catered another beautiful Ladies Luncheon and Fashion Show benefiting the MIR Foundation. There are few things in life better than shopping, food, and fashion shows and this luncheon combined all three! While guests filled the room, and their plates, girls from the MIR foundation got dressed in Gomez Gracia designs and prepared to strut their stuff on the runway that weaved through luncheon tables.  Guests enjoyed a salad assortment, choices of salmon or meat, stand-out potatoes and a delicious dessert assortment was passed around at the end. To top it all off, the lunch was served with wine, and there was a full bar! Girls from the MIR Foundation modeled designs from Gomez Gracia including floor length gowns, one-of-a-kind dresses, and unique skirts. The styles, materials, and cuts all varied and each piece had its own outstanding flare. The show was eye-catching and ladies went and bought looks straight off the runway! After the fashion show, young dancers performed merengue, enchanting the crowd and ending the show on a sweet, traditional note reminding all of the guests what the Sugar Weekend and all of its activities is really about- giving back to the kids through the MIR foundation! Special thanks to Raysa Fanjul for hosting the beautiful event! The following pictures were taking by Dariana Soriano during the Luncheon and Fashion Show in April 14th 2018:
