Casa de Campo and the Altos de Chavón amphitheater have just announced a concert; “Mega Chavón” on Sábado Santo (Saturday March 3oth), at the Altos de Chavón amphitheatre – featuring an ensemble of stars; Fernando Villalona, el Poeta Callejero, Sergio Vargas, Wason Brazoban, Mozart la Para, La Materialista and Milka y Melymel.
Uniting two of the most popular figures in the Dominican and Caribbean entertainment industry; Mayimbe Fernando Villalona and Sergio Vargas – “Mega Chavón” promises to be a night you won’t forget! And when joined on the Altos de Chavón amphitheater stage by four of the most famous and popular urban bands of recent times; el Poeta Callejero, Mozart la Para, La Materialista and Milka y Melymel – we can expect an electrifying mix of rhythms and tropical music – with something for everyone to enjoy!
Also taking to the stage will be Wason Brazoban, the Dominican singer/songwriter, loved by all women for his beautiful and romantic melodies.
AND there will even be a “surprise special guest” performance – can’t wait to find out who that will be!
Taking place on one of the most eagerly awaited party nights of the year (at least in the Dominican Republic and certainly in Casa de Campo), “Mega Chavón” will no doubt live up to our expectations – and be a great warm up before we continue the celebrations elsewhere… Unfortunately we’ve not yet heard of any other parties/events for this night – yet – but as soon as they pop up, (and they will) we’ll let you know!

An iconic image of Altos de Chavón and Casa de Campo, the Altos de Chavón Amphitheater was designed by Italian artist Roberto Copa in 1976.
In it’s 30 year history, Altos de Chavón has received many international artists in more than 163 concerts, such as Andrea Bocelli, Placido Domingo, Sergio Mendes, Gloria Estefan, Enrique Iglesias, Marc Anthony, Luis Miguel, Michel Camilo, Spiro Gyra, Duran Duran. It has also been the scenery for the best performers of Dominican Music like Juan Luis Guerra, Fernando Villalona, Wilfrido Vargas and many more.
