The Dominican Golf Federation (Fedogolf), announced the celebration of the National Youth Championships, to be held between the 13th, 14th, and 15th of this month of May, in Casa de Campo.

The National Championships are the most important event at the youth level, indicates a press release from Fedogolf.

Some 70 children between the ages of 4 and 18 will take part in the event.

The competitions begin on Friday, May 13, starting at noon with the male category 15-18 years old, the other categories will play on Saturday and Sunday starting at 7:30 am.

The event will be played at all three Casa de Campo golf courses, Dientes de Perro, The Links and Dye Fore.

“Everything is ready for the most important youth golf event, the National Championships,” adds Fedogolf’s press release. “We take this opportunity to highlight the great support received from the directors and staff of Casa de Campo.”

Andrea Attus will be the rules director for the event.

On this occasion, the event will be sponsored by Grupo Rica, Banco de Reservas, Farmacia Los Hidalgos, Gatorade, Cervecería Vegana, Constructora Aybar, Proedom, Hodelpa Hotels, Hospifar, Emilio’s and Clínica Abreu.

Athletes Kevin Rodríguez and Stephany Kim won the Junior National Championships in 2021. Kim won the Women’s Championships for the fourth year in a row. Rodríguez will look for his second title.
