The Dominican Golf Federation (FEDOGOLF) has just announced that the 2nd Annual “DR Open” golf tournament will take place this year from the 7th to 13th of November and will be played in both the Casa de Campo and La Estancia golf resorts.
The golf tournament which has already become incredible popular amongst amateur golfers in the Dominican Republic will be played on Casa de Campo’s famous Pete Dye designed courses, the Teeth of the Dog and the Dye Fore as well as La Estancia’s golf course designed by P.B Dye.
The details of the tournament are as follows:
DR Open 2011
When: 7th – 13th of November 2011
Where: To be played on Casa de Campo’s Teeth of the Dog and Dye Fore, as well as La Estancia’s golf course
Cost: USD$700 per player (includes 5 rounds of golf, green fee, cart, range balls, transport to and from the golf courses, welcome cocktail and awards dinner)

Monday: Arrival and registration
Tuesday: Practice round all day and welcome cocktail
Wednesday: Practice round all day
Thursday: 7.30am first round of the tournament
Friday: 7.30am second round of the tournament
Saturday: 7.30am third and final round of the tournament
Sunday: Departure
