So we got ‘hit’ by the first, and hopefully last, storm of the season – Tropical depression Fay. In any case, Fay was a wuss. It rained. It poured. We got wet. Next day we where at the beach. If I can say something positive though, Fay did remove all loose branches, leaves and reminded us that despite traditionally being lucky we should not take the hurricane season for granted.
Keep in mind that you can always find the latest details and some pretty maps at the following links (which we’ve also put up on the right of this page for the remainder of the hurricane season):
- National Hurricane Center – http://www.nhc.noaa.gov/
- Weather.com – Atlantic Satellite View – http://www.weather.com/maps/news/atlstorm2/tropicalatlanticsatellite_large.html
In the meantime, remember to keep safe and dry.
