Recently, La Romana – Bayahibe Hotels Association and the La Romana – Bayahibe Tourist Cluster, celebrated a press conference in the capital city of Santo Domingo, announcing all the details about the 1st annual La Romana – Bayahibe Golf Tournament to be played next Saturday the 22nd of September, 2012. At the event, attended by executive members of the La Romana – Bayahibe Hotels Association the details for this 1st La Romana – Bayahibe Golf Tournament were revealed – a tournament that next 22nd of Septemeber will be played at La Estancia Golf Resort golf course with up to 108 players who, will compete in a “Stroke Play” Full Handicap format in three main categories. This exciting golf event will be awarding prizes to the best overall gross and net score, the winners of the first three net places, as well as other special prizes.

EVERYONE is welcome to take part – and now that we have the new ”Autopista del Coral” La Romana – Punta Cana highway to get us to La Estancia super fast, we expect to see  players from all over the Dominican Republic taking part – especially from Punta Cana, Santo Domingo and La Romana! Those taking part will enjoy breakfast on the terrace before heading out onto the La Estancia golf course designed by P.B Dye, ending the activity with a lunch and prize-giving ceremony back at the La Estancia clubhouse.
