¡Buen día Casa! Este año ha demostrado ser uno que recordaremos. Ha sido bastante difícil, pero estamos seguros de que solo volveremos más fuertes, más amables y reconstruiremos mejor nuestras sociedades. A pesar de que estamos pasando por esto, no debemos olvidar que la comunidad de Casa de Campo también disfrutó de infinitos buenos momentos y muchos de ellos especiales en Casa, debemos recordarlos y conservar esos recuerdos hasta que podamos volver a estar juntos y crear otros nuevos.
A continuación mostramos solo una pequeña muestra de todos los que hemos vivido juntos este año, ¡pero hay y habrá muchos más!
El torneo de tenis McDaniel del jueves 4 de marzo al domingo 8 fue una excelente fuente de competencia amistosa en nombre de una causa maravillosa. Muchos de la comunidad de Casa de Campo salieron a apoyar las iniciativas de la Fundación de la Familia McDaniel y vieron los partidos cercanos entre los muchachos de pelota y los instructores de La Romana Country Club y La Terrazza Tennis Club. El pasado 10 de Marzo la Fundación Real Madrid inauguró la tercera sede de su Escuela de Fútbol en Casa de Campo. On February 14 and 15, 2020, Patronato Benéfico Oriental’s dedicated team hosted another fantastic charity weekend filled with fun events innovating the way our community comes together for a good cause. This event has more than two decades of celebration and is held in order to raise funds to contribute to the development of the various educational, social and health programs sponsored by the PBO of thousands of girls, boys and young people of La Romana. Last night, La Romana’s Baseball team the ‘Los Toros del Este’ were crowned the champions of the Dominican Baseball League for the 3rd time after defeating the Tigres del Licey 7-1, with Jeimer Candelario elected as Most Valuable Player of the Final Series. The celebrations reverberated last night all across La Romana, Casa de Campo and beyond. The win was 51 of the season for the Bulls between Regular Series and playoffs, record in Dominican baseball. The Fundación MIR Magical Splendor Gala is a much anticipated fashion event for Casa de Campo community members and international guests. This 30th-anniversary edition, hosted by Raysa and Alfy Fanjul featured internationally recognized fashion designer, Naeem Khan and part of his Resort 2020 and Spring / Summer 2020 collections.
