Casa de Campo Resort & Villas recently hosted Epicurea, a four-night event blending gourmet dining and premier golfing experiences. From March 10 to 14, 2024, guests indulged in culinary delights and golfing prowess against the backdrop of the Dominican Republic’s stunning landscapes.

Speaking on the occasion, Jason Kycek, senior vice president of sales and marketing at Casa de Campo Resort, expressed the resort’s enthusiasm for hosting the inaugural Epicurea event in collaboration with PGA Magazine, stating, “We continue to remain focused on elevating our culinary experiences and dining options for our community and resort guests alike, and Epicurea provided us with another unique program that complemented our growing culinary culture. We look forward to welcoming them all back again next year and taking this event to new heights and culinary explorations.”
Epicurea brought together a stellar lineup of celebrity chefs, including Chef Michael Anthony of Gramercy Tavern, Chef Alex Lee from Restaurant Daniel, Chef Esther Ha of Momofuku Ko fame, and Chef Bryan Noury from The Nomad. Their presence not only added a touch of culinary brilliance but also underscored the event’s aim to offer an unparalleled gourmet experience.

The itinerary included cocktail receptions, chef-led cooking demonstrations, and rounds of golf at the resort’s Teeth of the Dog and Dye Fore courses. Attendees enjoyed delectable meals crafted by the esteemed chefs at various resort locations.
Rick Summers, chairman and CEO of PGA Magazine, commended the seamless integration of fine dining and golfing at Epicurea, highlighting the event’s popularity, evidenced by high early registration numbers.

The success of Epicurea underscores Casa de Campo’s dedication to offering exceptional experiences that combine luxury, gastronomy, and leisure. As plans for future editions take shape, Epicurea is poised to become a premier event for food and golf enthusiasts.
