Last weekend was a long one and boy did we enjoy it here in Casa de Campo! The long weekend began on Thursday evening the 23rd of October with the ‘Fiesta de La Luna’ at Chinois in the Marina Casa de Campo and the celebration continued unabated all weekend despite the slightly rainy weather.
So starting from Thursday evening continuing all weekend the Marina Casa de Campo was FULL – the above photo was taken on Saturday night and clearly shows every table in the Marina Casa de Campo’s main Plaza, Plaza Portofino completely FULL! Casa de Campo residents as well as many part-time residents and visitors from Santo Domingo filled the Marina’s restaurants; Limoncello, Pepperoni and Chinois and ‘Cafe Juanita’ the Marina’s nighttime hotspot was once again very busy and living up to it’s reputation as being THE place to party in the Marina Casa de Campo. Also enjoying the weekend crowd was La Entoteca, wine bar, formally ‘Punto y Corcho’ which was full of wine-lovers, who benefited from the bar’s vast selection of the very best wines.
The Marina was the perfect place to enjoy the atmosphere, full moon and a few drinks before some of the more energetic party-goers headed up to Altos de Chavón to continue the party at Onno’s Bar, Papa Jacks or the Praia party at Dye Fore.
This was also the night that we celebrated the birthday of a very dear friend – Jean Michael (who had 9 friends fly in from across the world!) Wishing you a VERY HAPPY BIRTHDAY once again Jean Michael and lots of love and kisses!
