Tourism and hospitality employees in the La Romana Bayahibe destination get vaccinated

Last week, the Hotel Association and the La Romana-Bayahíbe Cluster began the vaccination process of all the employees of tourism companies and hotels that are part of the La Romana destination.

The initiative is part of the National Vaccination Strategy, developed by the Health Cabinet, led by the Vice President of the Republic, Raquel Peña, to stop the local spread of the virus and promote the country as a safe destination for tourism. international.

The entity indicated that during the operative, more than 3,500 people, belonging to the entire value chain of the tourism sector, have already received their first dose of the Sinovac vaccine, in a process carried out under the coordination of the Ministry of Public Health and with the support from the Ministry of Tourism, Civil Defense and Viva Wyndham Dominicus, Hilton La Romana, Whala!
