WAO Gallery & Cultural Center, with the sponsorship of the Embassy of Ecuador in the Dominican Republic, inaugurated the exhibition “Multicolor Universe” by Ecuadorian artist Eddie Mosler on June 17th and will be open until July 17th.
This exhibition consists of a total of 29 pieces that invite us to immerse ourselves in the magic of art and explore our inner universe. Each artwork is a portal to infinite possibilities, where imagination runs wild and beauty is found in every corner.
This collection reminds us that art is a personal journey and that we can connect deeply with the vast cosmos surrounding us through color and energy.
All the artworks are entirely different, and as we explore them, we discover a rich texture and dimension that challenges our perception. We can observe vigorous brushstrokes and expressive strokes that capture the essence of energy in motion.
Sanil García, the administrator of WAO Gallery & Cultural Center, curated and designed the exhibition. The opening remarks were delivered by Margarita González Auffant, curator of WAO Gallery & Cultural Center, followed by Santiago Martínez, the ambassador of Ecuador in the Dominican Republic, who spoke about the purpose of the artist’s works, which is to spread goodness in the world. The artist himself talked about his beginnings and journey in the art world.

It was a spectacular night filled with vibrant energy, friends, and associates who joined us in this moment.
Special thanks were given to Santiago Martínez, the ambassador of Ecuador in the Dominican Republic; Chen Luning, the ambassador of China in the Dominican Republic; Takagi Masahiro, the ambassador of Japan in the Dominican Republic; and Araceli Azuara, representative of the OAS in the Dominican Republic who were all present during the opening night.
WAO Gallery and Cultural Center would also like to thank Casa de Campo Resort & Villas for their constant support in sponsoring these cultural initiatives.

The exhibition will remain open from June 17th to July 17th, 2023, with opening hours from Wednesday to Saturday, 9:00 am to 9:00 pm, and Sundays and Tuesdays from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. The gallery will be closed on Mondays.
The Patronato Benéfico Oriental, Inc. (PBO) continues its commitment to sustainable initiatives with social impact to promote culture.
As part of these efforts, PBO has complemented its programs with the WAO Chavón initiatives, which include the WAO Innovation HUB, WAO Gallery & Cultural Center, and the Regional Archaeological Museum Altos de Chavón in Altos de Chavón.

The proceeds from the various projects and activities are directed towards our social programs, allowing them to replicate these initiatives in the vulnerable communities we serve as part of PBO’s community empowerment programs, promoting values that align with our mission, such as respect, solidarity, integrity, and equal opportunities.
