While the St. Stanislaus Church in Altos de Chavón is one of the area’s most beautiful tourist attractions, it is first and foremost a church, and while Semana Santa (Easter Week) is undoubtedly a popular time to party, it is also a religious celebration which is why we know you’re interested to know the special Easter mass scheduling for this long weekend coming up in Casa de Campo.
The St. Stanislaus Church was consecrated in 1979 – 3 years before the inauguration of the Altos de Chavón amphitheater in 1982. To commemorate the occasion, Pope John Paul II sent the ashes of Poland’s patron saint, St. Stanislaus, as well as a hand-carved statue from Krakow. Mass at the St. Stanislaus Church in Altos de Chavón takes place inside the small stone chapel in Spanish. Everyone is welcome to attend!

Friday, April 14th — VIERNES SANTO / GOOD FRIDAY, Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament from 8-11am Mass 5 p.m.
Saturday, April 15th — SÁBADO SANTO / HOLY SATURDAY — No Mass
Sunday, April 16th — DOMINGO DE RESURRECCIÓN / EASTER SUNDAY, 6 p.m. — Mass at PLAZA CHAVÓN
