Fantastic news!! According to our friends at the Casa de Campo Villa Owners Club, who are already busy organizing and planning the Dueños 2012 event – this year the event will include a bike marathon!
The Dueños event, an annual celebration hosted by Costasur and Casa de Campo for Casa de Campo villa owners is this year scheduled to take place on Saturday the 10th of November. As has become the tradition the event will once again invite Casa de Campo villa owners to take part in a variety of sporting events such as the golf, tennis and shooting tournaments, and end with the big “Fiesta Dueños” dinner-dance at the La Romana Country Club.
AND in addition a bike marathon for all the family is being added to the schedule of events!
Of course with the event more than 2 months away the details are still being organized, but we spoke to Arquímides de Jesús, the Director of Taekwondo at Casa de Campo, who will be organizing the event on behalf of Costasur and Casa de Campo and he revealed a few details:
“We are now going to include a bike marathon! The details are still being planned but we are thinking of leaving from Minitas Beach to Altos de Chavon and all the way back, similar to the Walkabout Marathon we did during the Semana de Francia.”

The Dueños 2011 weekend was celebrated in Casa de Campo from the 4th to the 6th of November 2011 and was a fun-filled celebration organized by Costasur Dominicana and Casa de Campo for it’s Casa de Campo villa owners, with sporting events and of course the highlight of the event, the Fiesta Dueños.
