On the 4th and 5th of November 2011, the Dueños (villa owners) of the Casa de Campo resort in La Romana enjoyed a magnificent “Dueños weekend”, which included the official Dueños event organized by Costasur and Casa de Campo with sports activities and a dinner-dance, as well as the 2nd annual Feria Dueños, a fun day for all the family, organized by Casa de Campo Living.

From 12 noon through to 8pm, Casa de Campo’s villa owners (Dueños) collected their Dueños “gift bags”, enjoyed fruit punch and picadera provided by Casa de Campo’s catering service, and entertainment in the form of live music and dancing provided by the Altos de Chavón amphitheater.
Casa de Campo, Saturday Nov. 5th: Sports and Events
From 7am to 6pm, Casa de Campo’s villa owners enjoyed yoga, the ‘Casathon’ marathon, horseback riding and tennis clinics, as well as golf, tennis and shooting tournaments hosted at Casa de Campo’s extensive sports facilities.
Casa de Campo, Saturday Nov. 5th: Dinner-dance at La Romana Country Club
More than 1500 Casa de Campo villa owners enjoyed the annual dinner-dance party, undoubtedly the highlight of the entire Dueños weekend event. This year, villa owners enjoyed a magnificent dinner catered by Casa de Campo and live music and dancing, which continued until 4am.
This year, the second annual Feria Dueños organized by Casa de Campo Living was held at the Cacique conference center. More than 500 Casa de Campo villa owners spent a fun day shopping at the bazaar and enjoying live music from the Perico Ripiao, whilst their kids played on the fun fair sponsored by Bonchecitos. A popular attraction was the “Rústicos y Más” Dominican furniture showcase, as well as “Web TV”, who enable internet TV services (such as Netflix and Hulu) for your TV. This event was also sponsored by “Dental Integral”, based in La Romana, Scotiabank, who have just opened a new branch in the Marina Casa de Campo and JetBlue, whose twice weekly service from La Romana – Casa de Campo to New York starts very soon, on November the 16th!
