As part of the Dueños ’09 event, Casa de Campo invited all villa owners to take part in a variety of free Casa de Campo based activities. One of these activities was a shooting tournament at the Casa de Campo shooting range. Participants had 25 chances to hit a moving target (skeet) with a shot gun.
As shooting is very much an individual sport the contest was on-going all day, starting at 9am and finishing at 4pm.
The staff at the shooting centre were very helpful and willing to guide the most able shooter to the most pathetic and a little terrifed shooter (me.)
The results of the shooting tournament are as follows:
Women’s category:
Winner: Carolin Ledesma, who hit 13 out of 25
Runner-Up: Javanny Melo de Nuñez, who hit 12 out of 25
Men’s category:
Winner: Luis Jose Nuñez, who hit 21 out of 25
Runner-Up: Jose A.Torres, who hit 20 out of 25
Junior’s category:
Winner: Augusto Grau, who hit 12 out of 25
Runner-Up: Guillermo Garcia, who hit 11 out of 25
