In Portugal, it started its activities in May 2016 led by Vanessa Campos. In April 2018, Dress a Girl Portugal (DAG-P) became a non-profit association that promotes intergenerational sewing meetings, combating the social isolation of the elderly population, promoting self-esteem improvement, sociability, sharing knowledge, improving family dynamics and promoting the health of its volunteers.
