For the first time ever (or as far as I can remember) there will be inter-league play in the Winter Baseball Season between Dominican Republic and Puerto Rico!
Any sports fan knows the life long rivalry between Dominican Republic and Puerto Rico, regardless of the sport… with baseball its even more fierce!
This weekend our Toros del Este will host the Lobos de Arecibo on Saturday and the Leones de Ponce on Sunday. These games certainly will not dissapoint! Los Lobos de and Los Leones are in first and second place respectively in the Puerto Rican Baseball League. Our Toros de Este are going through one of the their best seasons in recent history.
So this weekend make sure to gather up your orange gear and why not… rock the red white and blue, lets have a patriotic outing this weekend and go to the Estadio Francsico Micheli and not only cheer for our Toros del Este but for the Dominican Republic!
Ticket prices will be the same as for regular season games. Game times are 7:35pm on Saturday and 5:05pm on Sunday.
