This Weekend is the Fundacion MIR Family Weekend for Life, a fun, family-oriented event with golf and tennis tournaments for all the family, which will culminate in the ‘Dancing for Life’ event, a glamourous dinner-dance with a prize-giving ceremony being held at Playa Minitas.
The ‘Dancing for Life’ event will be the finale to the Family Weekend for Life – an opportunity for family and friends of Casa de Campo to gather together to enjoy a few drinks, a pleasant dinner, and a little dancing, whilst at the same time giving to a wonderful cause – the Fundacion MIR. As part of the evening there will be an awards ceremony for the competitors of the tennis and golf tournaments, when the winners will receive trophies and prizes. The Master of Ceremonies for this year’s event will be Pamela Sued, the Co-host of the popular TV show ‘Con Freddy y Punto.’
A new addition to this year’s celebration will be the presence of the Casino Diamante Dominicus-Bayahibe, who will be offering casino games, for more information click here.
The ‘Dancing for Life’ event is being presented by Tiffany & Co. and as such will feature the famous ‘Tiffany Wall’ with the mysterious Tiffany’s blue boxes. The Tiffany Wall is always a popular attraction at MIR events with guests being given the chance to purchase a box (USD$300) – the contents of which are revealed after purchase, so it’s a little like a raffle only much more glamourous and you ‘win’ a beautiful piece of Tiffany jewelry.

Tickets to the ‘Dancing for Life’ event are USD$150, which also includes the After Party with DJ Gringo.
