Casa de Campo Resort & Villas was the setting for one of the year’s most memorable gastronomic experiences: the O.livia Osteria x Da Vittorio collaborative dinner, held on Oct. 31 and Nov. 1 at La Piazzetta in Altos de Chavón.
For two nights, attendees enjoyed an exceptional Italian haute cuisine experience in an intimate format that combined gastronomy, music and pairings under the concept “Culinary Experience.”

The event brought together two international leaders: Chef Erik Malmsten, executive chef and partner at O.livia Osteria in Santo Domingo, and Chef Enrico “Chicco” Cerea, head of the iconic three-Michelin-star Da Vittorio restaurant in Italy.
Together, they offered a tasting menu that reflected technique, creativity and respect for local ingredients, resulting in a unique culinary experience in the Dominican Republic.

Starting at 7 p.m., a select group of social and business personalities gathered at the emblematic restaurant. The venue had been transformed into a sophisticated setting, enhanced by the warmth of dim lighting and exquisite decorative details that paid homage to the rich Italian culture.
The evening began with a distinguished welcome cocktail. Guests delighted their palates with a variety of exquisite appetizer bites, a perfect prelude that prepared their senses for the grand culinary experience to come.
“At Casa de Campo, we are proud to solidify our position as the preferred destination for high-end cuisine lovers and world-class experiences in the Dominican Republic. The success of O.livia Osteria x Da Vittorio reaffirms our commitment to excellence, innovation and the constant evolution of our culinary offering,” said Charles Keusters, director of operations for Casa de Campo Resort & Villas. “I deeply thank the Casa de Campo team for their dedication and professionalism in executing this event, and I highlight the enormous privilege it was to collaborate with Chef Cerea and Erik Malmsten on a truly extraordinary experience.”
