WAO Galería & Centro Cultural located in Altos de Chavón, opened on the night of Thursday, December 29, 2022, the exhibition “CROMATISMOS” by the Artist en Casa collective.
In a magical atmosphere with friends, related and interested in contemporary Dominican art, six artists belonging to the Artist en Casa collective, presented at Wao Galeria & Cultural Center, their perspectives and intentions to change their idea of perfection by experimenting and concretizing an extraordinary chromaticism in convergence points.

Claudia Messina, Mary Rosa Jiménez, Olivette Santoni, América Olivo, Rocío Jiménez and Florence Wiriath, showed the audience the different styles in which each one exalts itself, using different techniques such as intervened photography, oil on canvas, three-dimensional objects with recycled materials and colored glass, curated by Museologist Margarita González Auffant, curator of Wao Galería y Centro Cultural.
39 works allow the viewer to appreciate different visions of contemporary art from interesting techniques and styles that show the individual criteria of each of these artists; the change in the conception and development of art through the science of color, being able to change and question our idea of reality and art through chromaticism; presenting the evolution of the chromatic concept or the phenomenology of color, reaching its peak in contemporary art thanks to the contributions of concrete works of an immaterial nature, such as those presented in this group exhibition.
The exhibition will remain open from December 29 to January 29, 2023, from Wednesday to Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., Sundays and Tuesdays from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., closed Mondays.
