You read it here first! Yesterday we published the rumor alert, and now it has just been confirmed that famous artist Andrea Bocceli will be performing at the Altos de Chavón amphitheatre on the Saturday 4th of April 2015 (Sábado Santo) – and will no doubt be one of the highlights of Semana Santa (Easter Week), as well as of course the annual Casa de Campo Copa Semana Santa polo tournament hosted by CasaLife Magazine.

The most beloved tenor, Andrea Bocelli is set to perform at Altos de Chavon, the 5,000-seat Grecian style amphitheater, on April 4th, 2015 at 8:00 pm, and is being celebrated in aid of local La Romana charities the Hogar del Niño and the Fundación MIR!

The first of many artists lined up for Casa de Campo’s 2015 concert series, the Casa de Campo resort is thrilled to host Andrea Bocelli, who has sold more than 80 million records over his career. Tickets for the concert will start at US$107 for General Admission, US$265 for VIP, US$717 for Special Guests.

Andrea Bocelli’s rise to fame began with the world-wide success of the song, “Con te partirò” (Time to Say Goodbye) arranged as a duet with Sarah Brightman, while his album, “Romanza” broke all records in its category of music. Bocelli’s album, “Sogno” included the Golden Globe Award winning duet with Celine Dion titled, “The Prayer.”

Among the most recent recordings, Manon Lescaut under the supervision of Plácido Domingo and Turandot (to be released in the next months) conducted by Zubin Mehta. Among the countless awards, the star on the Walk of Fame in Hollywood shines in his honor since 2010.
