When Heloisa Ananias, Product Specialist for CVC in the Caribbean and Mexico, Brazil’s largest travel agency group, visited the La Romana – Bayahibe area recently, there could have been no better way to end the visit than with a tropical dinner party hosted here in Casa de Campo at the villa of Claudio Silvestri. In the Dominican Republic, and more specifically the beautiful La Romana – Bayahibe area, to assess the area’s potential for Brazilian tourists, Heloisa Ananias not only visited the Casa de Campo resort, but also the hotels in the nearby Bayahibe – Dominicus area, and of course took a boat trip to Saona island, one of the Dominican Republic’s most visited tourist attractions. Also taking part in this special farewell dinner were members of the La Romana – Bayahibe Hotels Association, including Ana García-Sotoca, Executive Director of the organisation as well as; Gina Núñez, Viva Resorts; Yesenia Espinal, Dreams La Romana Resort; Jorge Espejo, Dreams La Romana Resort; Celeste Olaverria, Be Live Canoa; Lissette Brito, Be Live Canoa; Karim Nuñez, Cadaqués Caribe Resort & Villas; Marino Guerrero, Iberostar Hacienda Dominicus; Andrés Fernandez, Director of the La Romana-Casa de Campo International Airport & Tourist Port; Josefina Brito, Tropical Tours. Guests enjoyed a champagne cocktail around the candlelit pool overlooking the Teeth of the Dog golf course, followed by a dinner in the light of the moon, and to end a beautiful evening, a traditional Dominican music and dance show- KANDELA! -performed in the high season (November – April) at the Altos de Chavon amphitheater.Merengue singer (merenguero) Silvio Mora
