Christmas is almost here and the “Elizabeth de Zeller” Ballet Academy invites the Casa de Campo La Romana community to enjoy a marvelous ballet show “Christmas Fantasy” (Fantasia Navideña) on Saturday the 26th of November on Friday the 25th of November at the Altos de Chavon’s Amphitheater in Casa de Campo.
Inspired by traditional Christmas Carols, the more than 100 girls of the “Academia de Ballet” (Ballet school), who are now directed by Ivonne Zeller (Elizabeth Zeller’s daughter) will entertain family, friends and assorted fans from the community with a brilliant dancing performance with classical, jazz and hip hop music!
‘Regreso a los 80′ – the 2010 edition of the anual show
This annual event has been celebrated for more than 40 years by its founder Elizabeth Perrota de Zeller, best known as Tia Eli, in order to raise funds for the “Hogar de Ancianos Padre Abreu”.
The “Academia de Ballet Magda Corbett”, now called “Academia de Ballet Elizabeth de Zeller”, in her honor, has taught thousands of girls and for many generations, not only the wonderful art of dancing ballet, but the importance of contributing with this lovely cause.
