Christmas Café de la Leche 2011: Friday the 9th of December!

This month’s special Christmas edition of the Cafe de la Leche is being held on Friday the 9th of December, from 5pm to 7pm at the Casa de Campo Villa of Xiomara Menéndez, Bahia Minitas #5.

This wonderful monthly event gathers together the female community of Casa de Campo and La Romana for a gossip, bite to eat and a few refreshing drinks – all of which can be enjoyed in the knowledge that you are giving to one of La Romana’s fantastic charities – the Hogar del Niño.

The Christmas Café de la Leche 2010!

This month’s event is very special because instead of milk, the Hogar del Niño is requesting donations of sweets for the Hogar del Niño Christmas party. Ordinarily, those who attend the Café de la Leche donate milk, baby formula and cereals, for the Hogar del Niño’s crib room, where over 200 babies are cared for everyday!

The Christmas Café de la Leche is one of the most popular Café de la Leche’s of the year – well loved among the Casa de Campo community for the festive spirit, Xiomara’s outstanding christmas decorations, the special holiday “ponche” and of course the wonderful christmas themed buffet! Last year, even Pitbull, the famous Cuban American rapper, singer, songwriter and producer made an appearance!
