Last Wednesday October 29th, Chivas Regal introduced its new international campaign called “The Venture” (Win the Right Way), where social entrepreneurs from 20 different countries, including the Dominican Republic, will receive part of US$1 million to be used to fund the start of their idea or project. “The Venture” is an international fund that provides aspiring social entrepreneurs with $ 1 million US dollars in financial assistance, global exposure of your business or idea and support from business mentors of international fame. Chivas Regal will support those who want success while making a positive impact in the lives of others through mentoring and financial support. This event was held at Hotel JW Marriott Blue Mall in Santo Domingo, where the details of the campaign were announced, which is accepting projects from TODAY, Monday November 3rd to December 31st 2014, through the website Among experts evaluating projects in the Dominican Republic are: Orlando Perez Richiez, Entrepreneurship National Director; Fernando Barrero, Director of Research Centers and Sustainability, Barna Business School; Juan Manuel Polanco, MDMA Magazine, Editor; Yaqui Núñez del Risco, Entrepreneur / Consultant investors; Erwin Maldonado, Vice President of Marketing at Pernod Ricard Travel Retail Americas.

Twenty of the most interesting social entrepreneurs from different countries will be invited to a week in a training camp for Entrepreneurship in Silicon Valley, California. These finalists will have the opportunity to meet leading technology companies, receive expert coaching and bid for a portion of the US$ 1 million to take their business to the next level.
