Chavón The School of Design will begin a new academic year with its renowned Continuing Education program, which this time will offer —both in virtual and face-to-face mode in the Santo Domingo campus— its customary cycle of short courses related to the world of art, design, and creativity.
The Continuing Education program, which will run from mid-January to the beginning of March, will make two training options available to teachers: a virtual one and a face-to-face one that, in the morning, afternoon, and evening schedules, will guarantee the participants will be able to learn in any of their preferred areas: fashion, events, graphic and interior design, photography, drawing, cinema, marketing, and advertising, and communication.
Through virtual teaching and an amount of RD$5,000 per course, Chavón will once again be in tune with the times by presenting members with a complete academic proposal that, from the comfort of their home or office, will allow them to study for four classes: Introduction to Interior Decoration, Interior Design (Residential), Creative Writing, Strategic Content for Social Media, Digital Marketing, Fashion Marketing and Art Direction.
While, with the face-to-face program, whose duration will include five classes and whose cost will be RD$7,000 per course, the School of Design will once again become a driver of the orange economy. Here it will offer: Fashion Design (Introduction), Image Consulting, Fashion Illustration, Wedding Planning and Illustrator (Introduction); as well as, Graphic Design for Social Networks, Basic Photography, Lighting Scheme, Tropical Garden, Interior Design, and Drawing and Composition. It should be noted that in this modality, the local health protocols will be complied with.
