Charytín Goyco, a Dominican singer, television hostess and actress was here in Casa de Campo during Semana Santa (Easter Week) filming the video for the first single of her new album “7 Vidas”.
Charytín Goyco became an international superstar in the late 1970’s with her song Mosquita Muerta, which reached the top of the charts in places like Mexico, Venezuela, and Argentina. Since then she has appeared in movies, soap operas, and as a TV show host, as well as continuing to be a singer.
Most recently Charytín Goyco had a TV show “CHARYTÍN” on Mega TV in Miami, but she left this behind to create her new album “7 vidas”, which she is working on with Rudy Pérez, a Cuban-born American musician, songwriter, composer, producer, arranger, sound engineer and musical director.
Marking Charytín Goyco’s return to music, it was an honor for the Casa de Campo resort and Altos de Chavón to be chosen as the set for the first song of the new album.
Scenes for the new single were shot all across the beautiful artists village of Altos de Chavón; at the Titanic look-out spot; along the romantic cobbled pathways; at the rustic café Le Boulanger; as well as riding around the backstreets on a scooter.
One scene was also shot at the La Romana – Casa de Campo airport.
We can’t wait to see the video. As soon as it is released we will let you know.
The following collection of photos were taken in Altos de Chavón and at the La Romana – Casa de Campo airport during the filming of the new single for “7 vidas” by Charytin Goyco:
