Central Romana celebrates Secretary’s Day with tropical luncheon and live music!

The Central Romana Corporation in La Romana, the company who own the Casa de Campo resort, celebrated International Secretary’s Day – also known worldwide as “Administrative Professionals Day”  with a gourmet luncheon in Casa de Campo animated with live music and special performance by Dominican bachata superstar Víctor Víctor and his Trio. The event is held annually as a recognition to hundreds of female employees that work as secretaries in Central Romana’s sugar mill factory offices, as well as at the Casa de Campo hotel, the Marina Casa de Campo, the La Romana-Casa de Campo International Airport and Tourist Port, the “Centro Medico” Medical Center and Promaco.

Eladio Uribe, Human Resources Corporate Director, opened the ceremony: “Because we value your dedication, efforts and discretion each day, to you we dedicate this celebration.”

Celebrating Secretary’s Day in Casa de Campo

To mark the special event, the Flamboyan Convention Center was transformed into a hawaiian luau with palm trees, flowers and each guest was given a “lei” (flower necklace) as they were welcomed with tropical fruit cocktails.
