Everyone loves Casa de Campo – the people who live here, the ‘capitaleños’ who weekend here, the tourists who vacation here, and the numerous celebrities who come here to escape! What’s not to love? We have world-renowned golf courses designed by the legendary Pete Dye, the largest tennis center in the Caribbean with 13 immaculate fast-dry Har-Tru tennis courts, a beautiful beach, a beautiful Marina, and a wonderful community!
The famous soccer player Lionel Messi has been spotted in our little piece of paradise along with his family enjoying a pleasant and well-deserved vacation. Just a few weeks ago, Leo Messi, won his first title with Argentina in the Copa América, beating Brazil 1-0.
The celebrity’s presence has caught the attention of guests, employees, and fans who follow them around the world, since their arrival and was last seen in Altos de Chavón for dinner.

And while we don’t have much of an insight into the popular soccer player’s daily comings and goings, thanks to the modern miracle that is “social media”, we have a pretty good idea of what he has done. Messi has been seen in various areas of the property, including restaurants in the Marina de Casa de Campo and on a nearby beach.
So as you can see, this 2021 will not be the exception as to celebrity sightings since from the beginning many have preferred Casa de Campo to get away from all the stress and enjoy this paradise we have the pleasure to call home at least for a couple of days!
