Last weekend was VERY busy, especially Friday night the 8th of October, when the Dueños 2010 weekend started with the ‘Entrega de Regalos’ party, the monthly charity event the ‘Cafe de La Leche’ was held AND the Altos de Chavón Art Gallery celebrated the opening of it’s latest exhibit ‘Tamburini, Rodriguez, Cataldi.’
El viernes 8 de octubre, celebraron la apertura de la nueva exposición de arte en en la Galería Principal de la Fundación Centro Cultural Altos de Chavón.
This opening celebration was very well attended by Casa de Campo villa owners and residents, as well as visitors from La Romana and of course the students of the Altos de Chavón School of Art and Design, who all turned out to support local Dominican artists Fernando Tamburini, Niccolo Cataldi and Kikito Rodriguez. Our La Romana local artist, Fernando Tamburini had some fantastic new pieces on display, mesmerising 3D creations with bold patterns and solid colors, representing a central theme of Dominican lifestyle and culture.
