On Wednesday the 23rd of November, the Altos de Chavón art gallery celebrated the opening of it’s newest art exhibit “Psychology of nature.”
To inaugurate the new exhibit by Dominican Artist Juan Carlos Reyes from Santiago, the Altos de Chavón gallery hosted an official opening and welcomed the Altos de Chavón artistic community, as well as the Casa de Campo and La Romana communities for a fun filled evening with cocktails, live music and of course art appreciation.
Under the symbolic name “Psychology of nature”, Juan’s exhibit explores the topics of global warming and nature, with a variety of different paintings, the majority of which feature abstract images of a dry forest. These fantastically colorful abstract paintings would make a bold and striking statement in any Casa de Campo villa!
If you missed the opening don’t worry, the exhibit will be on display at the Altos de Chavón art gallery until Monday December the 26th, open everyday from 9am-6pm (except Wednesdays)
