On Saturday May 23rd, Casa de Campo was honored by the visit of Colin Sykes, CEO of Fairline Boats, and Fairline Antilles celebrated the occasion with a private cocktail party in his honor.
The occasion was hosted by Eudaldo Hernandez, president of Fairline Antilles, at his Casa de Campo villa overlooking the lake on the 15th and 16th holes of the Links golf course. Serving as co-host for the elegant gathering was Cristian Hernandez, Sales Manager for Fairline Antilles. The event also included a fellow British brand, Land Rover, who displayed the all-new Range Rover at the cocktail party, as well as Chivas Regal 18 serving a selection of Chivas cocktails.
Colin Sykes is the CEO of Fairline Boats, a British luxury motor yacht manufacturer from 38 to 78 feet with 45-years in the business, whose expertise is in creating elegantly designed and considered boats that handle beautifully. On this occasion, Colin Sykes was in Casa de Campo visiting Fairline Antilles whom represent of Fairline Boats in the Caribbean.
The cocktail party proved the perfect excuse to celebrate and showcase the lastest from Fairline – the Fairline 53 Project which will include Open, GT (enclosed) and Squadron (fly bridge) versions.

These new models of Fairline are in fact so new, the first units are only now under construction and the launch of the first Fairline 53 will take place during the Southhampton Boat Show in the UK in September.
Among the guests celebrating alongside the Hernandez family were many members of the Casa de Campo community including Juan Velazquez, manager of operations for Costasur Dominicana and his wife Idarmis, Senator Carlos Castillo and Mr and Mrs Pellerano from Autobritanica, as well as other influential businessmen who enjoyed a beautiful evening under the stars. In fact, with the attendance of Steven Fisher, His Majesty’s Ambassador for the United Kingdom in the Dominican Republic, the finest Scotch whiskey in the form of Chivas Regal 18, Land Rover and these fine British boats, the gathering was a celebration of the best of Britain!
