The 13th Annual AMCHAMDR “Ambassador’s Cup” which this year changed it’s name to “Charles T. Manatt Memorial Ambassador’s Cup” in honor of the late ex-Ambassador and founder of the event, was organized by the American Chamber of Commerce in the Domincan Republic (AMCHAMDR) and played on Casa de Campo’s most famous golf course; the Teeth of the Dog, where players Neit Nivar and Pedro Manuel Goico were crowned champions!
The game which was held on the world’s 54th best golf course; the Teeth of the Dog, between 8:30am and 2:30pm on Saturday April 14th, 2012, was played by 120 national and international golfers who competed in three different categories for the trophies – (click here to see photos and coverage of the tournament) which would later be given out to the happy winners of the AMCHAMDR Ambassador’s Cup.
And so, once the tournament had finished, the golfers were led to the Casa de Campo Cacique Conference Center, where a fabulous lunch and prize-giving ceremony for all players and guests took place.
During the event, the attendees enjoyed a beautiful video in which ex Ambassador, Charles T. Manatt’s family remembered his motivation in creating this event, inviting those who were present, to continue supporting this great cause. The players and guests also enjoyed a raffle with dozens of prizes for the golfers and of course, the prize-giving ceremony.
