As you prepare for Father’s Day this Sunday and celebrate with the family, take a look at our article below, previously published in our spring issue of Casa de Campo Living magazine, for some cocktail-inspiration! Chivas Morning Glory Fizz

Fizzes are great pick-me-ups and the Morning Glory Fizz is as famous as it comes. This drink is adapted from the 18 A cocktail which is renowned as a glorious drink to kick start your appetite and keep your taste buds on their toes.

Chivas Morning Glory Fizz

  • 60mls Chivas Regal Extra
  • 25mls fresh lemon juice
  • 15mls sugar syrup
  • 1 egg white
  • 1 dash of absinthe and topped with soda

Rob Roy

Created in 1894 by a bartender at the Waldorf, the Rob Roy was named in honor of the premiere of an operetta based on Scottish folk hero, Robert Roy MacGregor. This drink presents an opportunity for you to share some folk stories of your own.

Rob Roy

  • 50ml Chivas 12
  • 12.5ml Lillet Blanc
  • 12.5ml Lillet Rouge
  • Dash of Angostura bitters
  • Stir over ice and strain into a martini glass
  • Garnish with fruit

For the classic storyteller:

Old Fashioned

The secret to this cocktail is to take your time. Chill the glass to begin with large ice cubes and enjoy making it, then you’ll enjoy drinking it even more. Use the back of a spoon to muddle the sugar lump and bitters in an Old Fashioned glass. Add a cube of ice and 15ml Chivas and stir into sugar crystals until the ice cube has half melted. Repeat 3 more times. Rub orange rind around the rim of the glass, add cherry and stir.

Old Fashioned

  • 50ml Chivas 18 year old
  • Dash of Angostura bitters
  • 1x Brown sugar lump
  • 1x Orange slice

Chivas Collins

Currently taking the Dominican Republic by storm, the Chivas Collins is a drink that amplifies the rich, fruity tastes of Chivas Regal’s 12 year old whisky. Excellent for parties, it’s quick, easy, and you’ll remember your love for a good whisky cocktail as soon as it touches your lips.

Chivas Collins

  • 50 mls Chivas Regal 12 Year Old
  • 25mls lemon sour
  • 2 slices of green apple
  • Complete with soda and garnish with a wheel of lime

For the late-nighters:

Chivas Sour

Famous around the globe since 1870 when it was published in a Wisconsin newspaper, the Chivas Sour combines flavors from the fresh lemon and sugar syrup to highlight the Chivas 12’s citrus flavors. First shake the mix with ice, then dry shake the cocktail before serving in a chilled glass. Garnish with half of an orange wheel and a cherry if your night hasn’t gone quite like you’d hoped.

  • Optional dash of Angostura bitters
