Thanks to the help of the Catalonia Hotel in Bavaro, all the of the children from the Orfanato Niños de Cristo in La Romana started the school year with new rucksacks filled with school supplies!More than 100 rucksacks were given to the children of the Orfanato Niños de Cristo, a orphanage in La Romana town, during an afternoon visit made by a group of representatives from the Hotel Catalonia in Bavaro.

Most of the children from Orfanato Niños y Niñas de Cristo received their backpacks filled out with their school supplies in a special activity held by many employees of Catalonia Hotel from Bávaro. It was an unforgettable moment for the children who also enjoyed a picnic, competitions, presents, and the love of our friends who so kindly came from Bávaro bringing with them food, juice, decoration and music for this special party completely organized and sponsored by them. Each child was sponsored by one employee of Catalonia Hotel as they did on Christmas time, too.
We are immensely grateful for such generosity!!!!!!

The Orfanato Niños de Cristo in La Romana, is a safe-haven, a paradise and a home for the more than 150 orphans who live there. The Orfanato, the other children and the caring people who work there are their friends, carers and their family and despite all that these children have already endured they are happy and loved – thanks to the Orfanato.
