From June 20th through to July the 1st the Museo Arqueológico Regional Altos de Chavónheld it’s first children’s summer camp and it was a great success and lots of fun for Casa de Campo’s little ones!
The camp was held in Altos de Chavón’s Archaeological Museum for children aged between 2 and 4 years old. During the 2 week camp the children learnt about Taino culture through interesting and exciting activities such as dancing, ceramics, painting, drawing, archaeology and ecology.
On some days, the group of children went out and about exploring around Altos de Chavón where they discovered different animals and plants.
The next summer camp ‘Explorando el Pasado! (Exploring the past)’ for 5-10 year olds at the Museo Arqueológico Regional Altos de Chavón, started yesterday and will continue until July 15th, there is still time to enroll your children if you haven’t already – just click here for all the details.
