Congratulations are once again in order for our beloved Casa de Campo resort – winner of a Gold Magellan Award by Travel Weekly.
“Honoring the best in the travel industry”, the Gold Magellan Awards given by Travel Weekly magazine have named the Casa de Campo resort as the “Best Golf Resort”.
With entries from across the U.S. and around the world, the Magellan Award winners represent the best in the travel industry and salute the outstanding travel professionals behind it all.
According to Travel Weekly, “the Magellan is THE award to win if you are in the business of travel.” Of course, our multi-award winning Casa de Campo resort is no stranger to winning prizes – especially for our outstanding golf facilities – but nevertheless being named “Best Golf Resort” is yet another testament to show how outstanding golf at Casa de Campo is. Especially when this is the second consecutive year that Casa de Campo is named “Best Golf Resort” in the Magellan Awards.
As the “Best Golf Resort” Casa de Campo boasts three diverse courses designed by legendary golf course architect, Pete Dye. The resort’s first and most famous course ranked No. 1 in the Caribbean region, the Teeth of the Dog opened more than 40 years ago and is credited with bringing golf tourism to the Dominican Republic. Additional resort courses include Dye Fore and Links attracting players with various experiences from cliff-side tees and inland water hazards, to lengthy fairways overlooking the resort’s marina, as well as the Caribbean sea beyond.
With so many awards and recognitions, there can be no doubt that Casa de Campo is simply the best!
