In the World Travel Awards which took place in London last week, Casa de Campo was named as the Dominican Republic’s Leading Resort and the Dominican Republic’s Leading Spa Resort.

Celebrating its 21st anniversary this year, the World Travel Awards were established in 1993 to acknowledge excellence in all sectors of the tourism industry. This year, more than 500,000 individual votes were casted by travel professionals and high-end tourism consumers.

Rafael Torres, new president of Casa de Campo Resort, accepted the two award trophies on behalf of Casa de Campo during this year’s 35th annual World Travel Market in London last week – one of the tourism industry’s most prestigious events where all winners received awards in front of 50,000+ senior tourism executives from 178 countries.
