Great news for Casa de Campo villa owners – YOU get free tickets for the upcoming Ana Gabriel concert in the Altos de Chavón amphitheater on Saturday June 9th.
Yes that’s right – Casa de Campo and the Altos de Chavón amphitheater have successfully secured Casa de Campo villa owners, residents and Casa de Campo hotel guests FREE tickets for this special “by-invitation-only” concert.
Casa de Campo villa owners and residents can collect tickets from the Casa de Campo Villa Owners Club in the main Casa de Campo area, whilst Casa de Campo hotel guests can request tickets with the Casa de Campo concierge.
Ana Gabriel in concert – the recording of her new CD-DVD
The Ana Gabriel concert is no ordinary concert – Sony Music will be taking advantage of this opportunity to record live for Ana Gabriel’s new CD-DVD which will be released in September.
Here are a few interesting and exciting facts about the concert:
• The concert will start ON TIME at 7:30pm (- because of the filming)
• The concert will be longer than usual (again because of the filming) – but there will be an interval in the middle!
• There will be an orchestra made up of approximately 40 musicians
• Mariachi singers will be involved in the performance!
• EDDY HERRERA, the famous Dominican Merengue singer will be making a special guest performance – perhaps in duet with Ana Gabriel!

About Ana Gabriel
Ana Gabriel was born as María Guadalupe Araujo Yong, in Santiago de Comanito, Sinaloa, Mexico. She first sang on the stage at age six, singing “Regalo A Dios” by José Alfredo Jiménez. She moved to Tijuana, Baja California and studied accounting. At age 21, in 1977, she recorded her first song, titled “Compréndeme”. During her long career, she has hits in three different genres of music: rock en español, Latin Pop, andrancheras. In 2006 she received the Lo Nuestro award’s “Premio a la Excelencia” (Excellence Award).

Also taking place in Casa de Campo on the 9th of June is the 4th annual Dewars 12 Golf Tournament with 12 Dewar’s 12 models as the hostesses – and who will be hosting their “After Party” and prize giving ceremony at the La Piazzetta restaurant in Altos de Chavón at the same time as the concert. Looks like it’s going to be a busy and fun night in Altos de Chavón!
