Casa de Campo Resort & Villas will once again be the focal point of cultural exchange as it hosts the second edition of ALMA by The Sphere from Nov. 1 to 3, 2024.

This event, founded by Spanish entrepreneurs Cuchy Pérez and Susana Deleito, brings Spain’s rich traditions to the Dominican Republic through a series of performances, gastronomic experiences, and a celebration of the renowned Feria de Sevilla.

“We are thrilled to return to this country, our brother nation, for a second time,” said Pérez in an official statement. “This year’s edition brings a unique showcase of Spanish culture that has never been seen in the Dominican Republic.”

The festivities will begin on Nov. 1 with an elegant gala dinner at Casa de Campo. The evening will feature Michelin-starred Spanish chef David García and a flamenco performance by El Corral de la Morería, the world-renowned tablao — Eduardo Guerrero is sure to captivate guests with his powerful artistry.

On Nov. 2, the event shifts to Altos de Chavón, where guests will experience a dinner spectacle, with food provided by the three Repsol Soles-winning Hermanos Vinagre chefs. Following the dinner, the amphitheater will host ABBA, The New Experience, a performance that has taken Spain by storm. The night will culminate with a performance by acclaimed international DJ and artist Juan Magán.

The final day, Nov. 3, will see Casa de Campo’s polo field transformed into a replica of Seville’s iconic Feria. Traditional elements, including flamenco dresses, casetas, and live performances by Los Bomberay and Grupo Salea, will transport attendees to Spain’s famous celebration. Flamenco music and cuisine will complete the authentic atmosphere.

The inaugural ALMA by The Sphere in 2023 left a lasting impression, blending Spanish culinary excellence, music, and folklore into an unforgettable cultural experience. This year’s edition promises to deliver even more, further solidifying the event as a vibrant celebration of Spain in the heart of the Caribbean.
