On Sunday the 10th of June 2012, the “Casa de Italia” and the Italian Ambassador for the Dominican Republic celebrated it’s 16th annual Enogastronomic festival (food and wine festival) in Santo Domingo, with the participation of numerous distinguished restaurants – including Casa de Campo’s The Beach Club by Le Cirque and La Caña Restaurant and Bar by Il Circo!
The event, which took place at the “Fortaleza Ozama” in Santo Domingo’s richly cultural Colonial Zone, was officially inaugurated by President of the Casa de Italia, Mr. Vincenzo Mastrolilli, a Casa de Campo villa owner, who is also the founder of the Proseguro’s Tennis Tournament played every September at Casa de Campo’s La Terraza Tennis Club.

Representing Casa de Campo was Chef Luca Banfi, executive chef of both The Beach Club by Le Cirque and La Caña Restaurant and Bar by Il Circo, 2 of Casa de Campo’s most popular and famous restaurants.
The event took place as part of the annual cultural activities organized by the Casa de Italia and was very well attended by diplomats, politicians, the general public, as well as (of course) many Italians!
