In a cocktail reception celebrated at the New York Athletic Club, Casa de Campo’s Sports Directors, or rather “The Sportsmen of Casa de Campo” introduced themselves and “The Sporting Life” at Casa de Campo to New York.
With 5 Pete Dye designed golf courses with 90 holes of play, a 245 acre shooting center, the La Terraza Tennis Club with 14 fast-dry Har-Tru courts, the Equestrian Center with both polo and horseback riding – as well as a private beach and the Casa de Campo spa for when it’s time to relax – Casa de Campo is indeed perhaps one of the very best places in the world to enjoy “The Sporting Life”.
Which is precisely why the resort is now being marketed under the tagline “Casa de Campo Discover the Sporting Life.”
At this cocktail held at the New York Athletic Club, Casa de Campo’s Sports Directors: Calixto Garcia-Velez Director of Polo, Shaun Snell Director of Shooting, Emilio Vasquez Director of Tennis and Gilles Gagnon Director of Golf presented “The Sporting Life” at Casa de Campo to a group of more than 90. Among those being seduced by Casa de Campo’s incredible “Sporting Life” were media representatives from niche magazines such as Travel and Leisure and Golf Digest, Sporting companies/clubs such as Jetblue Challenge, Southhampton Polo Club and the Metropolitan PGA as well as travel agencies and a number of independent agencies who represent Casa de Campo worldwide.
Also in attendance and representing the Casa de Campo resort were Claudio Silvestri President and CEO of Casa de Campo, Peter Bonell Casa de Campo Chief Marketing Officer, Daniel Hernandez General Manager of the Casa de Campo Hotel, as well as Pepe Fanjul Jr. and Leo Matos.
