Wonderful news! Casa de Campo Resort & Villas has been nominated in TWO categories in this year’s World Golf Awards (WGA), and YOU can vote now to help crown Casa de Campo as a winner! This year the prestigious Teeth of the Dog was nominated in the category “Dominican Republic’s Best Golf Course 2022” and the resort as a whole in the “Dominican Republic’s Best Golf Hotel 2022“.
Known as the Oscars of the golf tourism world, the World Golf Awards were created to celebrate and reward excellence in golf tourism, world-class golf courses, and golf destinations. World Golf Awards™ is part of World Travel Awards™. WGA organizers consider this a vital segment of the world travel and tourism market. On February 26th, World Golf Awards has opened voting for its 2022 program. Categories cover the entire spectrum of the golf tourism industry and range from best golf courses and designers to golf destinations, resorts, and tour operators.
Last year our resort won Caribbean’s Best Golf Course 2021, Dominican Republic’s Best Golf Course 2021, Dominican Republic’s Best Golf Hotel 2021 let’s help Casa de Campo win both categories this year!
The worldwide voting runs from 26th February until October 1st. Votes are made by professionals working within the golf travel and tourism industry – senior executives, tour operators, agents, and media professionals. Votes may also be cast by the public (golf tourism consumers). Winners will be honored in the World Golf Awards Gala Ceremony 2022 which will take place at Park Hyatt Dubai and Dubai Creek Golf & Yacht Club on 15th-17th November 2022.
