Golf carts aren’t just for golfing anymore. In many communities, the golf cart serves as a second car, and people zip around in them just for fun. Last Friday, December 18th, brightly lit golf carts, some playing holiday songs, brought seasonal cheer to Casa de Campo during the community’s second Golf Cart decorating competition. Casa de Campo invited guests and residents to decorate their carts with Christmas motifs and enjoy a night of great burgers and refreshing drinks.

At 8 pm on Friday, residents, and guests drove to the driving range and lined up their carts for all to see their beautiful creations giving the judges Ruben Gonzalez, Ivonna Sosa, and Maria Cotarelo the opportunity to look at every cart and decide who the winner of the night would be. Some of the drivers even dressed up to match their carts as an added way to have fun during the holidays! The atmosphere was joyous as participants enjoyed the festive event, with holiday tunes filling the air and kids eating popcorn and playing in the area.

The decorated golf carts were awarded first, second, and third place prizes at the conclusion of the event. It was a great event where the community came together to have a good time during the Christmas holidays while maintaining all health and safety protocols.

Overall, the Christmas golf cart competition was definitely a good way to start the weekend.
