The 35th installment of the International Tennis Tournament “Casa de Campo – Proseguros” opens today, Thursday the 30th of August, and will be battled out at the La Terraza Tennis Center in Casa de Campo La Romana, all week through to Sunday the 2nd of September when the finals will be played. 

The 35th annual tournament, this year being played in honor of Vincenzo Mastrollili, the founder of the tournament welcomes players from around the globe; Puerto Rico, Aruba, Curacao, Bonaire, Saint Croix, Venezuela, Colombia, the USA, Spain and Italy, as well as numerous Dominican players.

This year the “Casa de Campo – Proseguros” tennis tournament is being sponsored by Infiniti, luxury performance automobiles – so you can look forward to seeing a selection of their sleek automobiles on display and if you ask nicely you may even be able to take one for a test drive! Other sponsors include Casa de Campo, Proseguros and the Central Romana Corporation.

Casa de Campo tennis fans not taking part in the tournament are cordially invited to the La Terraza tennis club as spectators.

The schedule for the 35th annual “Casa de Campo – Proseguros” tennis tournament is as follows:

Thursday August 30th

9am: Tournament inauguration

9am – 12pm and 3pm – 6pm: Tournament rounds

5pm: Inauguration cocktail

Friday August 31st

9am – 12pm and 3pm – 6pm: Tournament rounds

2pm: Doubles tournament opens

Saturday September 1st

9am – 12pm and 3pm – 6pm: Tournament rounds

9pm: Dinner-dance celebration

Sunday September 2nd

9am – 12pm: Finals

1pm: Prize-giving and closing ceremony
