DOMINICAN REPUBLIC – July 24, 2015 –Spanning 7,000 tropical acres on the southeastern coast of the Dominican Republic, Casa de Campo is pleased to announce their partnership with The Pubbelly Restaurant Group – bringing their hip, Asian-inspired Pubbelly Sushi restaurant to the legendary luxury destination – set to open in November 2015.

The highly anticipated Pubbelly Sushi will be located in the Marina Casa de Campo and will boast an interior space of 72.92 square meters, an exterior space of 174 square meters and 114 person seating capacity. The eclectic menu will take diners and guests of the resort on an edible tour of Asia.

Created by Culinary Director and Founding Partner of The Pubbelly Restaurant Group, Jose Mendin and Pubbelly Sushi Partner, Yuki Ieto, the menu will feature dishes from Tuna Pizza with crispy tortilla, garlic aioli and truffle oil, to Tostones con Ceviche with Hamachi ginger soy, cilantro, red onion and and yuzu.

Additional popular menu items include the butter Snow Crab Roll wrapped in barely-there goma soy paper and ponzu and the Yellowtail Roll with green soy paper, truffled yuzu, snow crab and nori flakes. The Robata Grill at Pubbelly Sushi serves up a variety of fresh meats, seafood and vegetables in delicious marinades and sauces including Chicken Yakitori with ginger miso and sesame seeds, Steak Anticucho with rustic aji panca and Giant Squid with nira moyashi and smoked garlic.

The new Pubbelly Sushi at Casa de Campo will draw from locally sourced seafood whenever possible, heightening the caliber and standards of excellence at the much-anticipated restaurant.
