This past long weekend, Casa de Campo villa owners and visitors enjoyed a wide range of events, from the ultra-glamorous Magical Splendor for Life Gala and Fashion Show to celebrating the Chinese New Year at Chinois – as well as some serious late night partying at popular Marina Casa de Campo nightspot Café Juanita.
On Saturday evening the 28th of January, Café Juanita, located in the Marina Casa de Campo’s main Plaza Portofino hosted a live music concert by Nathalie Hazim, a young Dominican singer, whose speciality is to take her favorite songs and turn them into her own genre of music she calls “easy listening.” And even with much of the Casa de Campo community enjoying other events; the VIP dinner of the Magical Splendor for Life event at Casa Grande and the wedding celebration of Alice and Giacomo at Minitas Beach – Nathalia still managed to draw quiet a crowd to Café Juanita!

As it was a long weekend (with Monday off work), the celebrations and parties continued the following night, Sunday the 29th of January with DJ Gonzalvo and DJ Szpilman, who filled up the restaurant/bar for a second consecutive night and kept the party pumping into the early hours of the morning!

About Nathalia Hazim The following mini-bio was taken from the Facebook page of Nathalia:I studied ballet as a child and after dancing for 17 years, I became an adult. Went to Universidad Iberoamericana (UNIBE) to get my Advertising Communications degree, leaving my dancing dreams behind. I canalized my energy through my work. I created ROOM Grupo Creativo, a graphic design studio, after graduating and have been there since. But for a while I kept a little secret… And it came out when I joined SOLAVIA, a band that used to play christian and non christian music at different social events.
