This Thursday December the 13th, Casa de Campo Living and Chivas Regal 18 invite you to celebrate the opening of new art exhibition “Fernando Varela Recent Works – Paintings/Drawings” to be celebrated at the Marina Casa de Campo from 6pm.
Fernando Varela, a distinguished artist – originally from Uruguay, has been living in the Dominican Republic since 1975 and is now considered to be one of the country’s most internationally successful artists. Most famous for his contemporary paintings with aboriginal symbols and imagery of sugar cane in both subdued black, brown and cream shades, as well as more tropical tones of blue, pink and orange, the paintings of Fernando Varela can be seen proudly displayed on the walls of many a Casa de Campo villa – as well as in homes across the world.
With the opening of this new exhibit, which will be open at the Paseo del Mar #7 in the Marina Casa de Campo from December 13th to February 28th, Fernando Varela gives you the opportunity to view, admire and purchase from his most recent collection of paintings and drawings. And throughout the duration of the exhibit, as a passionate, experienced and world famous artist, Varela plans to host a number of “charlas” (talks) on a variety of different artistic topics – more details and dates to follow.
At the inauguration of “Fernando Varela Recent Works – Paintings/Drawings” being sponsored by Casa de Campo Living, Casa de Campo news and events website and Chivas Regal 18, guests will enjoy a brindis of Chivas Regal 18 – an opportunity to enjoy the 85 unique flavors this fine whiskey has to offer whilst also enjoying the magnificent art exhibit, with the opportunity to meet the artist, Fernando Varela.
